About Us

NIC, Darjeeling was set up on Aug'90. Initially it was at the Hill Affairs Branch Secretariat Building, but later on it was shifted to the Kutchery building and afterward a separate unit was set up in Siliguri. These centers provide service of application software, email, internet connectivity and video conferencing through a 100 mbps leased line, website development for the state government as well as for the central government departments. Apart from the technical service and training, these centres also play an important role regarding implementation of E-Governance for the various departments.
